OBSERVATION 4 – Patterns:- Ending Digits / Sequences
Analysing the spreadsheet table of the entire list of primes and special odd-composite non-primes, it is clear that there are further distinct patterns as sequences.
Prior to Sieving Out 5
Prior to filtering out all numbers divisible by 5, a pattern shows up in the ending digits of the whole table of primes and non-primes.
This sequence is a continual repeat of 1, 3, 7, and 9 separated by the numbers 3, 5, 9, 1, 5, and 7, also repeated. The whole sequence is 10 numbers long.
Excluding Numbers Divisible by 5
As stated previously it is important at this stage that the database of resultant numbers has had all the odd-composite numbers ending in 5 excluded.
When this is done the Ending Digit sequence reduces to 8 numbers.
Resultant Sequence
Remembering we are looking at primes and non-prime odd-composites together; as “my special Set Saf”, the sequence again starts 1 and 7. It then carries on as 1,3,7,9, and finishes with 3 and 9. Each digit occurring twice.
This pattern of 8 numbers, repeats ad infinitum. By doubling it up to a 16 number sequence, it can be matched against the sequence in the previous post “Pattern:- Raised by…”. The sequence does not vary.
The sequence is: – 1, 7, 1, 3, 7, 9, 3, 9, 1, 7, 1, 3, 7, 9, 3, 9, 1, 7…and so…
It matches to “Raised By”: – 1, 7, 11, 1, 5, 7, 11, 5, 7, 1, 5, 7, 11, 1, 5, 7, 1, 7…
